About Ross Owen Williams

With a degree in Drama and training from the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama (CSSD), Ross Owen Williams is a UK-based screenwriter and author whose work entertains and engages whilst exploring identity, transformation, and emotional truth through character-driven stories.
 
Early in his professional life, Ross became a top-billing recruitment consultant before founding, developing and selling his own successful recruitment agency, creating strong business acumen and an understanding of the commercial side of the creative industry. Since his days in recruitment, he has authored seven books – three wrestling autobiographies published by ECW Press and four business books – and worked on a number of original screenplays spanning drama, comedy, history, and sport. In 2018, his psychological thriller Winter Ridge was produced as a feature film, going on to win more than a dozen awards at independent film festivals.
 
Alongside his writing, Ross works as a radio presenter and freelance business consultant, bringing a versatile set of skills to his storytelling. His communication expertise and lived experience in various industries enrich his scripts with grounded, relatable voices, enabling him to create work that resonates with viewers and readers of all ages and backgrounds.
